ISO - The housings bore surface roughness may require lower values when metal-cased seals are used, in which case they should be subject to agreement between the manufacture and user.
- 2) RMA - If the bore surface texture is greater than 2,5 μm (100 μin.) Ra, a sealant should be used.

RMA - Turned bores, where a lubricant head of up to 0,20 bar (3.0 psi) is present at the seal. If the texture is maintained and tool removal marks or bore defects are present, no outside diameter leakage should occur.
